100 likes!

Thanks to all my family, friends, their friends and military spouses for supporting me and my business! I have given away my first free session and fully edited cd to Danielle Lynn. I look forward to taking pictures for her! I have posted a lot lately to get my business going for those of you who feel bombarded with my posts I am sorry I am trying to earn a living for my family. Not getting business means no income. I hope to get more business within the next week or two. I hope you all have a great evening!

First Official Post

I have to say that opening this blog is exciting for me, but not as excited as I was to start my own business. Life of a photographer is hard. Making it even harder is life as a Navy Wife. We move around making it hard for me to keep my business going like I want to. Not many people have heard of me or seen my work so I am not getting to work that I think I should be getting. I have tried to get my name out there but with the economy now it is making it that much harder for me to photograph for people. I am now at 100 likes on my Facebook page making me feel a little bit better. I just need to start getting 1-2 photo sessions a week to help out with extras that we might want for our daughter. She is the main reason I want to earn an income. I want her to have the best life she can get. With getting my 100 likes I will be drawing a random name of the 100 people/pages that have liked my page for that person to get a free photo session and free photo cd of the images I edit for them. They say you have to put money into something to get it back but so far I have not see it come back! I am starting to rethink even starting my business, but I know that if I just pray to God and give it all to him things will start turing around! I just need to focus on the bigger picture. I am starting out by putting money into some backgrounds that can go with me to sessions. Then I am going to get some bowties, headbands, hats and flowers for all my babies I want to photograph. I then want to find a wrap for all my pregnant women that way they can feel elegant and pregnant at the same time. I am also getting a new watermark and graphic made specially for me! I just want to show you how well I can capture your beauty. I hope this all helps me get my business going. It is time for me to get my little girl back to bed and get to bed myself. I will post more tomorrow when I announce who my facebook winner is. Good Night all!
